1. Properties
Cut resistant: Dyneema long fiber is up to five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. As a result, the gloves can resist the cut from the knives without hurting the hands.
Fire resistant: Dyneema fiber is the fiber that can resist the fire, and withstand extreme heat. The gloves can withstand the fire of a light for 10 minutes. The gloves are ideal equipment for firemen.
Wearability: The gloves can last 300 times than common knitting gloves.
Chemical resistant: The gloves can resist the acid, alkaline or other chemical agents, and can be cleaned in acid without any damage.
Cut resistant: Dyneema long fiber is up to five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. As a result, the glove with lightweight can resist knife cut.

After roping the unit (which can be done at the time of issue to the user) and connecting to an anchor point and body harness, the user need only pull down on the control sleeve and descend. Should the user wish to stop the descent before reaching the ground, he need only release the control sleeve. Immediately the descent stops and allows full use of both hands after stopping. The rate of descent can be controlled by either changing the angle of attack of the line or by increasing/decreasing the number of turns around the internal capstan. The MCD can also be used for rescue operations, covert operations and descent from helicopters.
The Compact Descender's versatility in military applications is demonstrated with its ability to safely lower a paratrooper whose chute is inadvertently entangled in a tree or other high obstruction. As an integral part of the personal parachute, the paratrooper can deploy the unit quickly by attaching the five millimeter 5500 lb. minimum breaking strength line with a carabiner to the harness and perform a safe descent to the ground. The unit can be customized to meet your length requirements.
